We are looking to appoint a Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our growing team at our thriving London office. You will bedelivering exceptional technical and commercial solutions to a range of clients across theprivate and public sector.
Pick Everard has an established portfolio of high profile and nationally significant clients, including UNESCO world heritage sites, major museums and cultural institutions, mission critical facilities, healthcare estates, custodial environments, energy and infrastructure, and complex public sector assets.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of UK security clearance in order to work on certain projects. The required clearance level will depend on the nature of the work and the sensitivity of the information involved.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Delivering portfolios of work across both the private and public sector.
- Preparing designs,feasibility studies, reports, and contract documents.
- Carrying out building analysis.
- Managing various contracts.
- Liaising directly with clients and contractors.
- Ensuringprojects are delivered accurately and on time.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduate trainees.
- Compliance withHealth & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.

About YouOur ideal Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) will have:
- HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.
- Knowledge of H&S/CDM requirements and current legislation e.g. UK Building Regulations.
- Familiarity with electrical and lighting design softwares such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self-motivated.
- Structured wiring system and security system design experience.
- Knowledge of construction industry design processes and procurement arrangements.
- Resource planning and management experience.
- Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.
- Business development experience.
