Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services

I've just met with one of our long-standing clients, and three things stood out: they genuinely look after their people, their project pipeline is consistently strong, and the work is technically exciting. With a portfolio spanning commercial fit-outs, student accommodation, education, healthcare diagnostics and scalable multi-site developments, they are now looking for a technically strong Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing team of nine engineers in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to work alongside experienced Directors on technically challenging projects, with exposure across design, project delivery and client management. Key responsibilities * Lead electrical building services projects from concept to completion * Prepare specifications, drawings and technical documentation * Liaise with clients and external design teams * Provide technical leadership and support to the engineering team * Manage project scope, programme and cost control Requirements * Degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) * 6+ years' consultancy experience * Strong commercial and multi-residential project experience * Team leadership experience * Knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD, DiaLux and cable calculation software beneficial * Strong communication and coordination skills * CIBSE/IET membership and Chartered status (or working towards) desirable If you're interested in hearing more about this London-based opportunity, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
