Principal Mechanical Engineer – Building Services for Substations

SSE, through SSEN Transmission, seeks a Principal Engineer - Building Services to lead mechanical specs for substation projects. You will drive technical policy, align with national and international standards, and support innovative, future-ready transmission initiatives.

You will review designs, approve test plans, and provide expert input across design reviews while representing SSEN Transmission in industry groups and ensuring rigorous validation of solutions.
