Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer

About the Role

We have a brand‑new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team based in our Bristol office. You will support and deliver designs for a range of project types and sizes, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality solutions while securing repeat and new business opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be responsible for day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multidisciplinary projects across building sectors.
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions align with brief and regulatory standards.
• Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, attend project meetings and translate the brief within the project team.
• Help monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered in collaboration with the team leader.
• Mentor and support ‘next‑gen’ professionals, including apprentices and graduates.

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, delivering complex projects.
• Experience with modern technical delivery processes and relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented consultant role.
• Self‑awareness, an open mind and a spirit of generosity.
• Experience supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
