PRINT SUPERVISOR / LARGE FORMAT PRODUCTION SPECIALIST
Join a Dynamic and Professional Large-Format Print Production Team
We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Print Operator / Large Format Production Specialist to join our growing production team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in large-format print production. Experience with dye-sublimation printing would be advantageous, although it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment where quality, efficiency, teamwork, and technical expertise are highly valued.
Print Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain a range of large-format printing equipment, including Mimaki, Colorado, Arizona, and Epson printers (training provided where required).
* Produce high-quality print output across a variety of materials and substrates.
* Manage daily production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
* Carry out quality control checks throughout all stages of production to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
* Work closely with the production team and communicate any issues promptly to management to minimise downtime.
* Maintain an efficient workflow while ensuring production accuracy and consistency.
* Conduct final inspections and quality assurance checks on completed projects before dispatch.
* Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and preventative care of production equipment.
* Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
* Monitor stock levels of production materials and report inventory requirements as needed.
Print Manager Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience within a large-format print production environment.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality work.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production setting.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
* Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
* Experience with quality checking, finishing, and collation of completed work.
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience with dye-sublimation printing.
* Knowledge of colour management and print production workflows.
* Experience operating multiple large-format print systems.
