OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Tier 2 Legal 500 Private Client team.
This is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most established Private Client teams in the South East, acting for a broad client base including high net worth individuals, families, business owners and vulnerable clients. The team is recognised for its technical expertise and long-standing client relationships, advising across all areas of private wealth, succession planning and estate administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients on Wills, estate planning, inheritance tax planning and succession matters.
- Handle probate and estate administration, including taxable and more complex estates.
- Draft and advise on trusts, trust administration and related tax considerations.
- Prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney and advise on deputyship and Court of Protection matters where required.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, professional referrers and intermediaries.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver a seamless service to private wealth clients.
- Participate in networking and business development initiatives to support the continued growth of the department.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client.
- Strong experience advising on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts.
- Experience dealing with inheritance tax and estate planning matters.
- Excellent client care and communication skills with a personable and professional approach.
- An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development.
- STEP qualification or working towards STEP would be advantageous but is not essential.
