Procurement Manager

Our client, a leading engineering business in Bradford are looking to recruit a Procurement Lead to join the business on a permanent basis as part of planned business growth. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing the purchasing function within the business to support long term business growth strategy. This role would suit a purchasing professional who has worked in a lead role with strong relationship building skills and a proven background in successful negotiations with key suppliers. Successful candidates will be operating with a busy, fast paced environment, installing Mechanical/ Electrical equipment across the UK. Candidates must be commercially focused with good financial acumen. Candidate will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Finance, and key suppliers to ensure procurement delivers maximum value while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and service. Candidates will ideally be educated to Degree standard and be a full CIPS Member with a demonstrable background within a lead role with a thorough understanding of supply chain.
