An exciting Procurement Manager role with a salary of £50,000 to £70,000 plus bonus (CIPS) and career progression opportunities for a role based in our Marylebone, London office.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager with an immediate start at a market leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology-based car parking company. Euro Car Parks is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 3500 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients.
The role
We are looking for someone with excellent negotiation and inter-personal skills, joining our dedicated team in order to contribute to our growth. We are looking for a passionate, pro-active, enthusiastic and motivated team player to provide the highest standards of professionalism with previous experience within a Procurement management role essential.
Main Responsibilities
Full responsibility for managing the day to day procurement process and activity, ensuring optimal supplier performance
Executing end to end procurement processes including, document preparation, negotiations, contract awarding & supplier management.
Ensuring purchasing activities reflect diverse requirements and overall business goals, as well as complying with all regulatory standards
Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and managing ongoing contractual relationships
Regularly reviewing long term agreements with existing suppliers
Monitoring and improving supplier performance (delivery, price and quality)
Negotiating and agreeing contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided
Providing continuous business and market analysis & bench marking
Identifying new suppliers, agreeing terms and negotiating supply agreements where appropriate
Devising and implementing action plans to reduces costs and improving service delivery time
Reviewing and enhancing ongoing processes and systems and developing new strategies where necessary
Handling responsibility for the complete stock management, stock control and stock disposal
Documenting physical supply chain processes such as workflows
Monitoring all lead times and delivery costs
Producing statistical reports and analysis on spending and cost saving
Skills:
Has previous proven excellent negotiation skills
Have proven experience in a Buying/Supply Chain role
Be a strong negotiator to lead commercial and contractual negotiations with potential & existing suppliers on behalf of the business.
Be a confident and clear communicator who can effectively liaise with stakeholders of all levels from a variety of teams across the business.
Be an energetic, fast learner who is willing to take a hands-on approach. As well as being flexible and highly motivated.
Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines
Be a strategic & innovative thinker with ability to drive initiatives
Have the ability to manage multiple, complex and ambiguous tasks simultaneously
Have decisiveness, follow-through, initiative, motivation, and a sense of urgency
Ability to working under pressure alone and with others whilst meeting deadlines
