Our Ebbw Vale manufacturing site specialises in chilled dips, houmous, sandwich fillings, toppings and marinades!

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Fridays 08:30-16:00

Salary: £50,000 + car allowance + bonus

Purpose

To lead product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring launch process is followed, critical paths are adhered to,

product quality standards are met and development in in line with company objectives and commercial targets.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Work with the product team to deliver customer briefs and innovation pipelines ensuring all KPIs are delivered in line with critical path dates.
  • Growing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Managing the full end to end development function at site level.
  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of the soups, dips and sauces category area, processes and kit within the factory.
  • Work closely with Insight and Category teams applying food knowledge to develop and deliver the customer development and
  • Keep up to date with market trends and competitor knowledge.
  • Manage projects, leading workstreams between site and central functions.
  • Own New and Existing Product Development process delivery at site, overseeing handover and launch success.
  • Oversee trial execution led by the process team.
  • Support the delivery of site NPD budget.
  • Line management responsibility including performance and personal development.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of product launch process in FMCG environment.
  • Food Based Degree- desirable
  • Quality and accuracy of information.
  • Timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Appropriate and timely escalation.
  • Facilitating successful feasibility presentations.
  • Confidence in providing intelligent solutions to problem solving.
  • Strong planning, organisation and project management skills.
  • Good analytic and numeracy skills.
