Product Designer – Full-Time | Permanent Are you a creative and technically skilled Product Designer looking to bring ideas to life from concept through to production? We are seeking a motivated individual to join a forward-thinking design team focused on developing innovative, high-quality products for global markets. The Opportunity This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of product development, transforming ideas into manufacturable solutions. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure products meet real-world needs. Key Responsibilities Develop product concepts from initial idea through to production Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings Build and test prototypes to refine designs Conduct market research and gather customer insights Visit clients to understand user needs and collect feedback Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Participate in tooling trials and product evaluations Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and performance standards Collaborate with wider teams to support product launches globally What We’re Looking For Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field (minimum 2:1) Strong understanding of product design and development Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills Practical experience in prototyping and model making Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Strong communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments Knowledge of plastics, metals, or other production processes What’s on Offer Competitive salary with performance-related bonuses Generous holiday allowance with flexible booking options Pension schemes, private healthcare, and life insurance Career progression and professional development support Flexible working hours and a supportive team environment Additional perks including wellbeing support, social events, and on-site facilities Working Hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexible working available)
