Now hiring a Product Safety Engineer to act as the focal point for Product & System Safety Assurance , supporting bids and live programmes from early design through to certification / acceptance.

Role responsibilities: Establish and deliver Safety Management Systems and Safety Plans Own delivery of Product / System Safety activities across multiple programmes Lead hazard identification activity (workshops as required) and maintain hazard logs Conduct safety analysis and risk evaluation (identification, estimation, reduction / ALARP) Produce and contribute to safety cases and supporting certification / assurance artefacts Create clear technical reports and present safety progress to internal/external stakeholders Provide safety input to bids/proposals (scope, work packages, effort and schedule) What we're looking for: Proven background delivering Product Safety Engineering / System Safety on complex systems (defence or similarly regulated domains preferred) Experience leading safety analysis, risk evaluation, and safety case development Strong experience owning hazard logs and running hazard identification / analysis activity Working knowledge xwzovoh of relevant standards and regulatory expectations (e.g.

Def Stan 00-056, IEC 61508, defence safety regulation) Working knowledge of CE / UKCA compliance expectations Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management (engineering teams, programme leadership, customers/suppliers) Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (minimum SC) and meet UK nationality requirements .
