Production Administrator To provide administrative support our Client’s site in Lye. Working flexibly and with a high level of accuracy, you will carry out varied administration duties to ensuring that the factory produce the right products in a timely manner in line with demand. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm, Fridays 7.30am to 1.00pm Salary: Up to £27,000 Type: Permanent: Permanent Location: Lye, DY9 Responsibilities * Creating and maintaining production documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process documents, ensuring they are accurate, up to date and correctly controlled. * Raising and tracking data queries with Production, Engineering, Quality and Sales, following them through to resolution. * Assisting with production planning and stock control, using sage and Excel. Including raising requisitions for purchased items and works orders for manufactured parts * Reviewing and correcting Bills of Materials (BOMs) held in Sage, including Make/Buy codes, quantities, component details and routing sequences, in line with Engineering and Planning guidance. * Checking the accuracy of works instructions, drawings and BOMs before release to the factory, flagging errors, omissions or missing components for correction. * Accurate and timely entry of timesheet data into planning and performance systems, chasing incomplete or missing timesheets with the team leader. * Maintaining and updating daily performance data (output, hours booked, adherence to plan) and preparing simple reports and boards to support the daily operational walk and planning reviews. * Arranging transport for completed orders * General administrative support to the Flexible Conveyor department, including filing, document control and updating of works instructions. * Any other duties as required. Requirements * Experience in an administrative or data-focused role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Strong Excel skills (lookups, filters, basic formulas) and competent in Outlook and Word. * High degree of numeracy and accuracy, with excellent attention to detail when working with data. * Good communication skills, confident liaising with both shop-floor and office-based colleagues. * Well organised, able to manage routine daily tasks to deadlines and use own initiative. * Can do attitude. * Team player
