We are currently hiring Assembly Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and
responsible for the manufacture or assembly of components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate:
£12.71 Type:
Temp to perm Location:
Stourport, DY13 Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards. General inspection Using hand/power tools such as drills, mallets, screwdrivers etc to assemble metal stands and components for conveyors Read and interpret engineering drawings Responsible for the manufacture or assembly of components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements and SOPs Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. Requirements: Previous mechanical assembly experience. Experience using hand and power tools. Reliability and good communication skills. Ability to understand engineering drawings. Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
