Details of a Production Engineer Cheslyn Hay
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:15pm
Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm
£28,000 - £43,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Roles of a Production Engineer Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing (NPI).
Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), production documentation and engineering data.
Provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process.
Work closely with Production, Quality and Purchasing to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Investigate production issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
Drive continuous improvement projects to improve quality, efficiency and productivity.
Complete Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and maintain accurate engineering records.
Ensure manufacturing information is accurate and available before production begins.
Support engineering planning and workload management.
Mentor apprentices and support the development of junior engineers.
Requirements of a Production Engineer Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar.
Experience within electrical manufacturing, control panels or industrial automation.
Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI).
Experience producing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation.
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. xwzovoh
Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or equivalent is desirable.
