Location: Buntingford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00 22:00 Permanent Late Shift
Salary: £33,280 £39,520 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Line Supervisor Powder Coating to join a successful and growing manufacturing team based in Buntingford.

Working closely with Production Management, the successful candidate will lead the Paint Line team, ensuring powder coating operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while driving team performance and continuous improvement.

Duties of a Production Line Supervisor Powder Coating:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Paint Line team and Production Management

Lead, motivate and coach the Paint Line team to achieve production targets and departmental objectives

Set clear daily, weekly and monthly objectives, ensuring expectations are communicated effectively

Organise and allocate work to a team of approximately 45 operatives

Mentor team members, identify training needs and support ongoing development

Conduct performance reviews and promote employee welfare and engagement

Carry out hands-on powder coating and spraying duties where required

Ensure powder coating processes meet quality standards and production schedules

  • Applicants must have experience working on a powder coating line, including hands-on spraying experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Competent in the use of workshop machinery, hand tools and manufacturing equipment

Experience within a workshop, manufacturing or manual fabrication environment

Ability to adapt to new production methods and support continuous improvement initiatives
