Production Manager Rugby Up to £50,000 per year Permanent | Full-time Engineering Manufacturing | Production Leadership | Fabrication & Assembly Are you an experienced Production Manager who enjoys being close to the shop floor, leading people and making sure production runs properly? We’re recruiting for a Production Manager to join an established specialist engineering manufacturer in Rugby. You’ll take overall responsibility for day-to-day production, bringing together fabrication, welding, mechanical fitting, finishing and planning to keep work moving, maintain quality and hit customer deadlines. What’s on offer: * Up to £50,000 per year * Permanent, full-time position * Stable, long-term opportunity * Senior role with real influence over the operation * Varied engineering and manufacturing environment * Opportunity to improve processes, productivity and production flow The Role: * Leading day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations * Coordinating production across different engineering departments * Working closely with production planning to manage workload and capacity * Monitoring output, deadlines and quality * Identifying bottlenecks and keeping jobs moving through production * Supporting and developing team leaders and shop-floor staff * Maintaining strong health & safety standards * Working with engineering, purchasing and stores to resolve production issues * Helping improve processes, efficiency and overall workshop performance What we need: * Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Workshop Manager * Strong engineering or manufacturing background * Good understanding of fabrication, welding and mechanical assembly * Experience leading skilled shop-floor teams * Confident managing production schedules, priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and organisational skills * Practical leadership style and comfortable being visible on the shop floor Experience within specialist vehicles, commercial vehicles, fabricated equipment, heavy engineering or bespoke manufacturing would be particularly relevant.
