Production Manager - Poole TeamJobs are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a fast-paced, high-volume operation in Poole. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced manager who enjoys being at the heart of an operation - leading people, improving performance, solving problems and making things happen. You'll take ownership of a busy operational area, leading large teams across production, yard, parts and warehouse functions. It's an environment where pace, people and performance matter, and where you'll have the opportunity to genuinely influence how the operation runs. We're particularly interested in speaking with managers from automotive, vehicle processing, recycling, waste, FMCG, manufacturing or other high-volume operational environments. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE + performance-related bonus Working hours: Monday to Friday Rotating shifts: 6:00am - 3:00pm / 3:00pm - 12:00am 42.5 hours per week No weekend shifts The role: Lead and develop large operational teams across multiple departments Take ownership of daily output, productivity and shift performance Drive improvements across people, processes and operational flow Identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime and improve efficiency Use KPIs and operational data to make decisions and drive performance Work closely with maintenance and operational teams to keep the site moving Drive continuous improvement and introduce better ways of working Maintain high standards across health & safety, quality and compliance Create an accountable, positive and high-performing team culture What we're looking for: Proven management experience within a fast-paced production, manufacturing or operational environment Experience leading and developing sizeable teams A hands-on management style - someone comfortable being visible on the shop floor Strong understanding of KPIs, productivity, labour efficiency and operational performance Experience improving processes, reducing waste or increasing output Commercially aware with the confidence to make operational decisions Strong people management skills with the ability to get the best from different personalities Experience within automotive, vehicle processing, recycling/waste, FMCG, heavy industry or high-volume manufacturing would be particularly advantageous.
