About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and oversee all production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams.
Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise production schedules, resources, and capacity.
* Drive operational performance through KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead, coach, and develop production teams to maximise productivity and engagement.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
* Oversee performance management, training, and employee development.
* Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance.
* Prepare operational reports and implement improvement plans.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Production Manager within manufacturing.
* Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 6S.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP, or other ERP systems.
* Track record of delivering operational KPI targets.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent).
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
