We are recruiting an experienced Production Manager to join a successful and expanding specialist business based in Cheltenham.
This is a key operational appointment within a growing organisation that continues to invest in its facilities, people and future capacity.
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Production Manager who can take ownership of a busy warehouse and production environment, streamline processes and lead the team to achieve consistently high standards of quality, efficiency and safety.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the production operation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day production environment
Leading, motivating and developing production teams
Driving operational efficiency and productivity
Reviewing and streamlining existing production processes
Planning workloads, resources and production priorities
Ensuring production targets and customer deadlines are achieved
Monitoring quality and operational performance
Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Managing team performance and supporting employee development
Supporting recruitment and training
Working closely with warehouse, design, commercial and senior management teams
Developing a positive, accountable and team-focused working environment
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Previous management experience within production, manufacturing, industrial, warehouse or logistics operations
Strong people-management and leadership skills
A process-driven approach with the ability to identify improvements
Experience improving operational efficiency
A practical, hands-on management style
Excellent planning and organisational skills
A strong understanding of quality and health & safety
The ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
