Workshop / Production Manager Woodworking Industry Quest Employment Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop / Production Manager to join a well-established woodworking and manufacturing business based in Northampton . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production or workshop professional looking for a straight-to-permanent position , where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop, production planning and the management of a skilled team. You will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, deadlines are achieved and high standards of quality, organisation and Health & Safety are maintained. The Role As Workshop / Production Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop and production operation. Managing the day-to-day running of the workshop and production schedule Planning and prioritising workloads to ensure production deadlines are met Acting as the key link between the office-based team and workshop Supervising, training and developing workshop staff Monitoring production progress and ensuring jobs are completed on time Ensuring the workshop is organised, efficient and maintained to a high standard Liaising with senior management regarding production performance and operational issues Taking a hands-on approach to resolving day-to-day production challenges What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Workshop Manager, Production Manager or similar leadership role within the woodworking industry .
