Production/Manufacturing Operatives – Temp to Perm We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield (HD2), who is expanding their manufacturing operation and looking for motivated Production/Manufacturing Operatives to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fast-paced, physically active role where no two days are the same. What You'll Be Doing As a Manufacturing Operative, you'll play a key role in the manufacturing process by: Loading components onto production frames and securing them correctly Moving products through various stages of the production line Removing completed components from clamps and fixtures Inspecting and packaging finished products ready for customer delivery Working safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team The products can be large and heavy, so this role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and are comfortable with manual handling duties. What We're Looking For We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who are keen to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within manufacturing. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong attention to detail Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment Manual handling experience Ability to work rotating shifts Own safety boots/shoes Desirable: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Working Hours - 2 Weeks Rotating Shift Patterns 2 weekly rotation – all 40 hr week A Week 1 = 07.00–16.30 Mon-Thurs 07.00-11.00 Fri Week 2 = 20.30–07.00 Mon-Thurs B Week 1 = 19.00–05.30 Mon – Thurs Week 2 = 07.00–16.30 Mon- Thurs 07.00- 11.00 Fri C Week 1 = 19.00–05.30 Mon-Thurs Week 2 = 9.30–19.00 Mon-Thurs 09.00-13.00 Fri D Week 1 = 09.30–19.00 Mon-Thurs 09.00-13.00 Fri Week 2 = 20.30 – 07.00 Mon-Thurs Pay & Benefits £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks – plus attendance and performance bonus payable monthly Overtime paid at Time 1/3 and 1/2 Once fully trained, you'll benefit from an enhanced hourly rate, recognising your skills and contribution
