Production Operations Engineer

Production Engineer Are you a Production Engineer with experience supporting manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company experiencing continued growth, where you'll play a key role in supporting production operations, introducing new products and improving manufacturing processes. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: Oversee manufacturing and test processes, ensuring procedures and specifications remain up to date Provide technical support to production teams and resolve manufacturing issues Support new product introduction activities and manufacturing readiness Raise and implement engineering change documentation Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment Investigate root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions Provide technical support to Sales, Purchasing and Engineering departments Support preventative maintenance and TPM activities Work closely with Quality teams to maintain product standards and improve yield Support operational objectives relating to delivery, quality and productivity To be successful in this Production Engineer role, you’ll need: Previous experience within a Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling and test equipment Experience supporting production teams in a manufacturing environment Good working knowledge of Excel and MRP systems Experience using CAD software HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering would be advantageous 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Medicash healthcare plan Pension scheme with employer contributions matched up to 7% Cycle to Work scheme Sharesave scheme Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to work on technically advanced, highly engineered productsIf you are interested in this Production Engineer role please click “apply” or contact Orion Reading today, thank you.
