Production Operative

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting Production Operatives/Technicians on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company based in Chadderton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established manufacturer who excel in their industry. We're recruiting for various departments across the shop floor. Previous Production / Manufacturing, Machine Operating, Assembly or CNC experience is essential for the role. Successful candidates will be cross trained in all departments in the Production area. General duties across the departments: * Working in a clean room manufacturing environment. * Operating ply cutters, conversion machines, and heat seamers. * Assemble, pack and inspect products to meet high quality standards. * Perform quality control checks * Follow site health and safety procedures at all times. * Carry out manual handling, including regular lifting and bending. * Maintain high quality standards and a clean, organise work area. Contract Type: Temporary to permanent (12 weeks maximum working via agency) Working hours and Pay Rates: * Rotating Shifts Monday to Friday 6am – 2.10pm, 2pm – 10.10pm (rotating weekly) (£13.16 per hour) * 3 on 3 off Days 6am – 6.10pm (£13.16 per hour) What's on offer? * Modern site working in a clean room manufacturing environment * Training and progression opportunities (with further pay increases) * 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays and book your birthday off (after 12 months service) * 2 x salary life assurance (after 12 months service) * Enhanced maternity and paternity pay (after 2 years’ service) * Annual profit related pay (linked to company performance) Interviews will be held at our clients site in Chadderton.
