Production Operative

MPA Coleraine is currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy and well-established food production facility based on the outskirts of Coleraine. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with the potential for a permanent position after 13 weeks.

The Role
You will play a key part in supporting daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out a range of general operative and manual handling duties as directed by the Supervisor

· Assist with loading and unloading of goods and materials

· Operate machinery and equipment safely (full training provided)

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within the work area

· Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Candidate Requirements:

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work

· Good communication skills

· Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks

· Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential

What’s on Offer:

· £14.90 per hour

· Weekly pay

· Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on a 3/4 day working week

· Opportunity to secure a permanent role after 13 weeks

· Contract: Temporary to Permanent (after 13 weeks)

· Shifts: 3–4 days per week, rotating days and nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
