Production Operative

Job Description: We are working with an exciting new client based in the Coleshill area who are looking to recruit Production Operators to join their growing manufacturing team. This is a global organisation offering long-term opportunities for the right candidates, with temporary contracts that are expected to become permanent. MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT Key Responsibilities * Previous experience as a Production Operator within a manufacturing environment * Measuring and handling ingredients with basic arithmetic skills * Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently * Working effectively in a fast-paced production setting * Supporting production targets and maintaining quality standards Essential Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment * Comfortable with manual handling duties * Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measuring and production tasks * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-based environment Desirable * FLT Licence (not essential but beneficial) Shift Pattern Rotating shifts (weekly rotation): * Morning Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (1:00pm finish on Fridays) * Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (8:00pm finish on Fridays) * 36.5 hour working week * 30-minute unpaid lunch break * Overtime paid at time and a half / double time (where applicable) Benefits (upon permanent transfer) * 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Pension scheme (Aviva) – 7% employer contribution with minimum 5% employee contribution, with option to increase up to 10% * Westfield Health cashback scheme including EAP, health screening, and retail discounts * Company bonus of up to 6% * Life assurance (4x salary) * Enhanced sick pay scheme This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established global business offering stability, progression, and long-term career prospects
