Production Operative

We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join our client's busy packaging team on a permanent night shift. Pay Rate £14.59 per hour Working Hours This position operates on a 39-hour night shift pattern: * Sunday: 10:00pm – Monday 5:00am * Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 5:00am * Friday: Finish at 5:00am Key Responsibilities * Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping. * Follow instructions detailed on specification sheets. * Liaise with relevant departments to ensure materials are available for production. * Support the production crew with efficient job set-ups. * Stack and dispatch pallets to a high standard suitable for palletisation. * Carry out cleaning duties and basic maintenance tasks. * Identify opportunities to improve manual handling processes. * Report mechanical issues promptly to the Machine Operator. * Use resources efficiently to minimise waste and reduce costs. * Assist in resolving quality and operational issues. * Contribute ideas to improve productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency. * Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times. What We're Looking For * Previous production experience is essential. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. * Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. * A team player with a positive attitude.
