Production Operative - Temp to Perm Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Break: 30 minutes unpaid per shift Production Operatives Required - Brixworth Quest Employment are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Brixworth. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for full training, long-term career prospects and the chance to secure a permanent position. The role is based within a specialist production environment where accuracy, quality and attention to detail are essential. Important Shift Information This role will initially operate on a day shift: Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 5:00pm Candidates must be fully flexible and willing to move onto a set shift pattern after securing a permanent position, depending on business requirements. Future Shift Patterns for Permanent Employees Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday | 2:00pm - 10:00pm Sunday to Thursday | 10:00pm - 6:00am Please note: A pay increase will apply after transfer to a permanent contract. The Role As a Production Operative, your duties may include: Accurately weighing and dosing liquid and powdered materials Measuring and blending materials in line with production instructions Following detailed batch paperwork and production documents Completing production records accurately Handling raw materials safely and efficiently Carrying out manual handling, including lifting heavier containers of liquids and materials Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised Wearing all required PPE provided by the company Following all health and safety procedures at all times What Were Looking For We are looking for candidates who: Have excellent attention to detail Are confident working with numbers, measurements and production paperwork Have good communication skills Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn Are physically able to complete manual handling tasks Are comfortable lifting heavier products safely Are flexible to work future shift patterns when required Are reliable, punctual and hardworking Have previous production or manufacturing experience, preferred but not essential Desirable Experience The following would be highly advantageous: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment Experience working within a COSHH-controlled environment Experience within chemical manufacturing or similar specialist production Previous experience handling liquids, powders or raw materials Additional Information Due to the location of the site, candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own transport.
