Production Operative

Temporary Packer Location: Cornwall Pay: £12.75 per hour Hours: 4:00am - 2:00pm Duration: Temporary (Initial 2-week assignment) Start Date: ASAP The Role We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Packer to join a busy food production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who is available for an immediate start. The role involves packing and potting crab meat into containers while maintaining high food hygiene and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Potting and packing crab meat into retail packaging Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures Maintaining cleanliness within the production area Working efficiently to meet production targets Supporting the wider production team as required Ensuring products are packed accurately and to the required standardRequirements Previous food packing, food preparation, production, or manufacturing experience preferred Good understanding of food hygiene standards Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift Comfortable lifting and carrying crates weighing up to 15kg Reliable with excellent timekeeping Good command of English and able to follow instructions Available to start immediatelyAdditional Information Free on-site parking available (spaces are limited) Additional parking available on nearby roads PPE will be providedIf you are reliable, hardworking, and available for an immediate start, we would like to hear from you
