You will be involved in the preparation, manufacturing, assembly and packing of chilled food products , ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company standards.The RoleAs a Production Operative, your duties will include:Preparing, assembling and packing chilled food productsHandling food products safely and following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Checking products meet required quality and customer specificationsMaintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping standardsWorking safely and following Health & Safety and COSHH proceduresMaximising production output while maintaining quality and safetyHelping to minimise product and packaging wasteCompleting production paperwork accurately and on timeReporting any food safety or quality concerns immediatelyWorking closely with colleagues and other departments to keep production running efficiently.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who:Have an understanding of food safety proceduresCan follow instructions accuratelyHave good attention to detailAre reliable and flexibleWork well as part of a teamAre willing to learn new skillsHave good basic literacy skillsAre willing to complete basic food hygiene training.Previous food production, manufacturing, packing or factory experience would be beneficial.Quality & SafetyYou will be expected to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality and Health & Safety at all times and support the company's internal and external quality requirements. xwzovoh Overtime is paid at time and a half and may be offered to cover holidays, absences, and business needs, although it is not guaranteed.Shifts:Thursday to Saturday and alternate Wednesdays from 06:00-18:00Sunday to Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays from 06:00-18:00Saturday to Monday and alternate Tuesdays from 18:00-06:00- additional shift allowanceBenefits:Free parkingOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
