What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Operator, you'll be working hands-on within a precision manufacturing environment - operating and monitoring production machinery, carrying out quality checks on finished components, keeping your workstation organised and safe and working closely with your team to hit daily production targets. You'll be trained on the equipment and processes you need - this is about attitude and reliability first, technical experience second.
A typical day might include:
Setting up, running and monitoring production equipment
Carrying out visual and measured quality checks on components as they're produced
Recording production data accurately
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe (5S standards)
Flagging any issues or quality concerns to your shift supervisor
Working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to come from a production or manufacturing background to apply - what matters most is the right attitude. We're looking for people who are:
Reliable and punctual self starter, with a strong work ethic
Keen to learn and happy to be trained
Comfortable on their feet and working with their hands
Able to follow instructions carefully and work to quality standards
A good team player who pitches in and supports colleagues
Previous production, warehouse, or hands-on trade experience is a bonus, but not essential
