You will be expected to follow best practice for Health & Safety, Quality, and Cost management while working as a team player.Shift Pattern:The role is to work on a 5-week shift pattern in the milk reception areaFour of those weeks are 4 x 10 hour daysThe fifth week is 5 x days on earlies- working from 2am-10.30amThe role also includes working one weekend in five, in an 8-hour shiftHourly Rate: £13.88 (equates to annual salary of £32,458 which includes additional pay for earlies and weekends)YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BYFollowing Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)Meeting KPIs and food hygiene requirementsCarrying out visual line quality checks against required standardsReporting any food safety and health & safety non-conformances or behavioural issues to your line managerFollowing the Star Card and Food Safety Quality Card system to report H&S issuesAdhering to Clean as You Go practices in work areaEnsuring and verifying all cleaning and sanitization chemicals are correct and used as per work instructionsEnsuring cleaning is performed and verified during production at the end of the manufacturing dayYOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU AREAble to demonstrate good communication skills and a solid level of written and spoken EnglishSkilled and experienced in manual handlingAble to follow basic instructions and adhere to standard proceduresAble to demonstrate appropriate levels of numeracy and literacy as required for the roleTrained or experienced in basic Food & Hygiene Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 (desirable)WE SUPPORT AND CARE FOR OUR EMPLOYEES BY PROVIDING YOU WITH25 holidays + 8 bank holidaysSite bonus of up to £500 per yearFull training and knowledge of our productsInclusive working environment3% Employer Pension ContributionHealth cash planAccess to the Thrive wellbeing app 24-hours a dayDiscounted SDUK branded productsFree, onsite parkingOne paid workday a year to volunteer for a local community or charitable institutions of your choiceMy Staff Shop
