Production Planning Specialist

As a Production Planning Specialist in Bingley, you'll play a key role in ensuring production schedules run smoothly and efficiently, and act as a support function to the production team. Client Details A global company which operates in the industrial and manufacturing sector, with sites throughout the UK. This role is based in Bingley. Description The Production Planning Specialist will: Maintain and improve the ERP system (SAP) for existing, new, and trial codes. Create and maintain BOMs, Routings and Quality plans. Verify that all production bookings have been completed, including final confirmations and consulting with the manufacturing team to complete paperwork. Contribute to projects involving master data. Complete production variance analysis and improvements to BOMs/Routings Review production records for completeness and correction of booking errors, final confirmation of production records. Interaction with Global support functions regarding problem solving and managing through to resolution. Support with training in SAP for new operators.Profile The successful Production Planning Specialist should have: Experience in SAP (R3 / S4 HANA) preferred Proven experience in a data management role within a manufacturing environment.
