Project Engineer) 3-6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 (£300-£400 per day) Derby | Monday-Friday | Standard Day Shifts Working closely with both engineering and workshop teams, you will be responsible for capturing existing overhaul and repair activities, documenting best practice and developing structured engineering packs, work instructions and procedures that can be consistently followed across the business. Key Responsibilities Create detailed work instructions, repair sequences, routings and engineering procedures. Work alongside technicians and workshop staff to understand and document existing repair processes. Produce and maintain engineering packs for overhaul and maintenance activities. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and new programme activities. Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency, quality and overall performance. Investigate technical issues and implement corrective actions where required. Develop training materials and supporting process documentation. Analyse workshop performance data and recommend process improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, controlled and aligned with operational requirements.
