- Electrical & Instrumentation Location: Scottish Borders, Cumbria & West Yorkshire We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (E&I) with a background in gas distribution, utilities, or major infrastructure projects to support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
Essential Skills & Experience COMPEX Ex01-04 certification.
Time-served Electrician or Electrical Technician.
EL6 authorised, Authorised Person (AP), or equivalent electrical authorisation.
Experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Strong background in gas infrastructure, utilities, or other safety-critical environments.
Knowledge of hazardous area installations (ATEX/DSEAR), permit-to-work systems, and electrical safety procedures.
Experience with LV/HV electrical systems, switchgear, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems. xwzovoh
Ability to manage contractors, review technical documentation, and ensure compliance with CDM and health & safety regulations.
