FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Project Manager.
About the Role
Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow. There are 3 roles available - PM or Senior PM or Associate Director PM.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction and property projects from feasibility through to completion and handover.
- Act as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships.
- Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and wider stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
- Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and Directors.
- Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
- Support procurement, contract administration and project governance.
- Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Required Skills
- Experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration.
- Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets.
- Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
- Membership of RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE would be beneficial, although professional-development support is available.
