Project Manager (Healthcare Construction)

Overview

Project Manager (Healthcare Construction) — Full-time role based in Scotland, with hybrid work model. Role focuses on managing healthcare projects within Scotland for a construction consultancy setting, with prior experience in healthcare projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Healthcare projects within Scotland, involving a combination of the following:
• Administer the NEC4 suite of contracts
• Projects involving multiple services provided by AECOM
• Manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out)
• Work mostly independently but receive basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions
• Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects

Qualifications

• You will ideally be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects
• Pre and post contract design / project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• NEC4 Contract Administration (Accreditation if positive)
• Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
• Robust Stakeholder Management process

Preferred Experience / Qualifications

• Academic Qualification – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master’s Degree
• NEC 3/4 accreditation
• Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, APM or other equivalent institution
• Has clear understanding of NHS Scotland requirements, such as NHS Scotland Processes, Governance and Compliance
