Developthecapacityofboardmemberstoplayasignificantroleinshapingandscrutinisingcoreservicesandensurethattheboardsareeffectiveandmeaningfulinthescrutinytheyprovidetheservicerecommendationstheymakeandexperiencesoftheparticipantsbothstaffandresidents.

Setupaminiwebsiteforeachboardusingtheengagehubtofacilitateinformationsharing,andexchangeofideas.
Supporttheboardsgatherevidenceandinsightforconsiderationandtoinformtheirwork.
Draftreportsonworkattheboards
Workwithserviceleadsfortheboardsareasoffocustoensureteamsareworkingcloselywiththeboardsensuringtheprovisionoftherightinformationtoensurepeoplecancontributetofairdecisionmaking.

Thepostholderwillneedtodeliverwithinthecouncilsfinancialpolicy,contractsstandingordersandcorporatecontractsprocurementprocesses.Thepostholderwillberesponsiblefororganisingpaymentstoparticipants.
ThepostholderwillhaveregularcontactwithseniorofficersincludingStrategicDirectorlevel,theLeaderoftheCouncil,Cabinetmembers,MembersofParliamentgivingandreceivingguidance,instructionsandadvice.
