Project Manager Working Location: Nationwide Office Location: Hybrid Working Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Package: £5,000 Car Allowance An established construction and interior fit out business specialising in CAT A and CAT B fit out projects is looking to appoint an intermediate Project Manager to join their growing team. The business delivers projects for a range of commercial clients, with the majority of their work across the Northwest and West Midlands. Projects range from £250k to £10m, with an average project value of around £2m-£3m. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager or Contracts Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects and being trusted to manage them through to completion. The role offers a varied workload across office fit outs and other commercial spaces, including industrial units, with a mixture of site-based and office working. The business has a practical and collaborative approach, giving experienced Project and Contracts Managers the responsibility and flexibility to manage their own projects while working within established systems and processes. The Role As Project Manager / Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for managing multiple projects from start through to completion. Responsibilities will include: Managing multiple live fit out projects Overseeing projects from mobilisation through to completion Managing programmes and ensuring projects remain on schedule Coordinating subcontractors and overseeing site activity Monitoring project costs and maintaining expected margins Managing procurement and appointing subcontractors Ensuring materials and resources are available when required Maintaining strong relationships with clients and keeping them informed of project progress Ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the required quality standards Carrying out regular site visits and working closely with site teams and subcontractors Managing project documentation, reporting and commercial informationRequirements Proven experience working as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within construction or interior fit out Strong experience delivering CAT A and CAT B interior fit out projects Experience working on commercial projects, particularly offices and industrial units Experience managing projects ranging from £250k to £10m CSCS Black Card or White Card SMSTS NVQ Level 6 or BSc in Construction Management, or a similar relevant qualification Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements Experience managing subcontractors, programmes and site activity Strong communication and client management skills Willingness to travel nationwide as required
