You'll be responsible for managing programme delivery, commercial performance, client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution and delivery of multiple engineering projects. Meet with clients and senior stakeholders to define project scope, programme, budgets and deliverables. Produce and maintain detailed project plans, adjusting where required to meet changing project needs. Manage project risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Design, Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Health & Safety. Allocate project tasks based on team capability, workload and experience. Monitor project progress against programme, budget and quality objectives. Produce regular project reports for clients and internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, industry standards and company procedures. Oversee day-to-day project operations from mobilisation through to completion and handover. Skills & Experience We're looking for someone with proven project management experience within engineering, utilities or infrastructure environments. Essential Proven experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and programmes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving abilities. Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work under pressure whilst managing competing priorities. Good understanding of project risk management. Desirable Experience working under NEC4 contracts (particularly Options A, C or E). Knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar project planning software. Working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMBOK methodologies. Understanding of CDM 2015 regulations, including Principal Contractor and Principal Designer responsibilities. Experience working within regulated engineering sectors such as utilities, power, energy or infrastructure. Qualifications Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent is advantageous. Engineering background preferred for candidates managing technical engineering projects.
