An established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced engineer to take the lead of its specialist Gabion Division. The division already has an excellent reputation, an established client base and around £1m turnover. The ambition? To grow it to £8m over the next five years, expand its presence across the UK and take on increasingly complex projects. And they're looking for someone who wants to help make that happen. There are two routes into this role. You might already be a gabion, retaining wall or ground engineering specialist, ready to take your experience into a role with much greater responsibility, autonomy and commercial influence. Or you might be an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager who has spent your career successfully delivering complex projects, managing clients and teams, and taking commercial responsibility — but you're now ready for something different. You don't need to have spent your career in gabions; You do need to be someone who is technically credible, commercially aware, curious and hungry for a challenge.
