We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Industrial arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk to aid the Commercial Team.
Responsibilities
Cost Management & Commercial Control
Manage project-level cost activities, supporting the delivery of complex nuclear infrastructure works through effective cost planning, forecasting, reporting, and commercial governance.
Procurement & Contract Management
Lead procurement activities across packages of work, supporting tender processes, contractor negotiations, and contract administration while ensuring value for money and commercial compliance.
NEC Contract Administration
Provide commercial support across NEC-based contracts, managing change control, compensation events, payment applications, and contractual processes to minimise risk and maintain project performance.
Cost Reporting & Risk Management
Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates, identifying commercial risks and opportunities while providing clear advice to project stakeholders and senior management.
Client & Project Team Collaboration
Work closely with clients, contractors, designers, and wider project teams to provide commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of major infrastructure works.
Requirements
Degree qualified or professionally qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline, with experience delivering QS services within construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects.
Proven experience managing procurement and commercial activities, ideally within NEC contract environments. xwzovoh
Experience working on complex infrastructure, energy, nuclear, or similarly regulated projects would be highly advantageous.
Must be based within a commutable distance of Suffolk
