Help Shape the UKs Energy Future Project Controls Reporting Manager Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.We are recruiting for a Project Controls Manager to join the CWA (Civil Works Alliance) and this role comprises of Compiling and generating high-quality, formal reports that effectively communicate project progress, performance, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. About the opportunity As part of the CWA, we are delivering Sizewell C a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This role sits within the PMO reporting directly to the Head of Project Controls. You'll be responsible for implementing comprehensive project controls strategy, managing program, productivity and cost through integrated Earned Value Management, while upholding safety, quality and project integrity at every level. CWA reporting processes ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment to project controls, integrated program, WBS, CBS, OBS and all coding structures. validate reports and resolve data discrepancies. Integrate earned value management (EVM) and ensure adherence to governance, reporting cadence and contractual requirements. Project Controls Systems Promote integrated project controls systems and software across CWA; Collaborate with IT & Digital and IM functions for alignment and integration with other project management systems. HSE and Nuclear Safety Leadership Championed commitment to leading the project HSE and Nuclear Safety agenda; empower teams to challenge and improve safety performance. Ensure all scope activities align to SZC CWA Nuclear Safety culture and communicate the Nuclear Safety message consistently across all levels. Digital Engineering Promote Digital Engineering tools and processes; establish integrated digital business systems linking BIM data with schedule, budget and cost data. Articulate benefits of Digital Engineering application to internal and external stakeholders. Client and Stakeholder Management Maintain diverse networks of contacts inside and outside the project; inspire employees to contribute through DfMA, innovation and digital engineering. People Management Drive team motivation and performance; At least five years experience working within a reporting, planning or project controls role on complex and mega infrastructure projects Experience of preparing reporting packs to an Executive level standard. Familiarity with planning software. Experience of using Power BI dashboards and other reporting tools.
