People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Project Safety Engineer to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes / Market Harborough / Kettering .
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience within construction, warehouse or impact protection environments to join a growing business delivering installation and maintenance projects across the UK.
Working alongside the Project Safety Manager, you will coordinate installation teams, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain excellent standards of quality, safety and customer service.
This role involves regular nationwide travel and working away from home and will suit applicants who have experience working as an Installation Engineer , Project Engineer or Site Engineer.
Rates of Pay:
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum + Accommodation & Stop-Out Allowance
Shift Pattern:
Full Time
Permanent
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with some overnight stays required

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Project Safety Engineer are:
Support the Project Safety Manager with the coordination of installation and maintenance projects
Supervise subcontract installation teams, allocating work according to skill levels
Ensure all work is completed safely, following RAMS, health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
Carry out on-site quality inspections and provide coaching and support to installers
Manage on-site stock, materials and equipment
Complete stock checks and maintain accurate project documentation using Fieldwire
Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard
Report site issues, customer concerns and any changes to working methods
Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout each project
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Project Safety Engineer , you will need:
Full UK Driving Licence
CSCS Card
CITB Health, Safety & Awareness qualification
FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences
Experience within the impact protection, construction or warehouse environment
Good understanding of health & safety legislation, risk assessments and method statements
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
Previous experience coordinating installation teams
Experience delivering on-site training or coaching
Knowledge of installation techniques and construction methods
Strong customer service skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines
Proactive, hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude
