Senior Legal Officer - Right to Buy

£25 - 30ph (dependent on experience)

Sellick Partnership are working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Property Senior Legal Officer with considerable Right to Buy experience.

This role will be offered on an initial 3-6 month basis, with a strong likelihood of extension.

The purpose of the role is to:

• 
  
• Progress allocated Right to Buy cases in accordance with all the relevant legislative and procedural requirements in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Open files, prepare letters and emails to clients and keep the client regularly informed.

Draft Lease or Transfer docuemnts and send out Legal Packs.

Deal with ongoing queries related to active RTB cases.

Prepare and carry out completions.

Post completion work.

Deeds of postponement.

Right of first refusal.

The client is ideally looking for someone with experience of working within a local authority setting, but experience in all of the above areas from a private sector background may also be considered.
