Proposals Engineer - Water

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client, to recruit a Proposals Engineer – Water Industry Specialism. Our client is a premier UK based Engineering company, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of water and wastewater treatment solutions. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative and sustainable engineered systems, they partner with the UK’s leading water utilities and major infrastructure contractors to solve complex water challenges. The Proposals Engineer must respond to incoming enquiries and invitations to tender, preparing detailed bids, working to tight tender return deadlines and liaising with other estimators where necessary. The Proposals Engineer must quickly gain a good understanding of the required scope of work or conduct a site visit to ascertain a scope from a speculative request and accurately quantify all necessary costs (direct or indirect) for labour, materials and equipment. Take responsibility for producing good quality written proposals which clearly define our proposed scope and exclusions together with any other information required by the tender. You will also be required to manage customer expectations and take ownership of each proposal until conclusion.
