This historic, privately owned Dales inn dates back to the 13th century and is full of character, with flagged floors, open fires, beamed ceilings and stone walls. The Green Dragon serves locally brewed ales and gin alongside traditional pub food, contemporary accommodation and locally sourced menus all focused on delivering a first-class guest experience. The Green Dragon is now looking to recruit an experienced Chef to join their fast-paced kitchen team. A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Chef Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques and stock control Relevant catering qualifications would be advantageous Up-to-date Food Hygiene and Food Safety knowledge A driving licence would be beneficial Preparing and delivering high-quality traditional pub dishes using locally sourced ingredients Supporting the Head Chef in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen Assisting with menu specials and seasonal changes Maintaining high standards in line with food hygiene and safety regulations Contributing to the maintenance of a 5-star food hygiene rating Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised and compliant at all times Salary: £14 £17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Hours: 40 50 hours per week, typically 10-hour shifts.
