School Chef (Ad Hoc) - September Start Hours: 8:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Friday) Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Contract Type: Ad Hoc / Temporary Are you an experienced Chef looking for flexible work within school catering? We are recruiting School Chefs to support school kitchens across Middlesbrough, Darlington and Redcar with ad hoc shifts and ongoing available from September. Working as part of a busy catering team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for pupils while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. Managing food preparation and portion control Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations Supporting and supervising catering assistants when required Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Previous Chef experience, ideally within education, care, or contract catering Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations A flexible and reliable approach to work Food Hygiene Certificate Flexible ad hoc shifts to fit around your schedule Competitive pay rate of £16.00 per hour Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
