- £52,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am
- 5:00pm Some on call Pump Engineer Drainage & Wastewater Services We are looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join our growing drainage and wastewater team across London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of pumping systems within the drainage industry.
Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will attend both planned and reactive jobs for commercial, industrial, and residential clients, ensuring pumping equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, repair, and install sewage and drainage pump systems.
Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues on pumping equipment.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown call-outs.
Inspect pump stations, lifting stations, and associated drainage equipment.
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site.
Requirements Previous experience as a Pump Engineer within the drainage or wastewater industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience working on sewage pumps, dirty water pumps, lifting stations, and control panels.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Good communication and customer service skills.
What's on Offer Salary of £45,000
- £52,000 , depending on experience.
Monday to Friday working hours: 7:00am
- 5:00pm .
Company vehicle, fuel card, and specialist tools provided.
