Pump Engineer Location: Ideally based on Kent or East Sussex, work covering South East Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Hours: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Pump Engineer with a background maintaining and repairing pumps within off-mains sewage treatment plants, pumping stations or wastewater systems? Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Pump Engineer to cover sites predominantly across Kent and East Sussex, with occasional travel further afield. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding skills and experience working with sewage pumps, treatment plants and associated wastewater equipment. The Role Working across a range of off-mains drainage and wastewater systems, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing pumping equipment to keep systems operating safely and reliably. Your work will include: Servicing, maintaining and repairing pumps within sewage treatment plants and pumping stations Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on pumps and associated equipment Removing, repairing and replacing submersible sewage pumps Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs Inspecting equipment, identifying defects and recommending remedial works Attending customer sites across Kent and East Sussex, with occasional travel furthe...
