Job Title: Punch Press Setter Operator Night Shift Punch Press Setter Operator (4 Positions Available) Location: Derby Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Shift Pattern: MondayThursday (4 on / 3 off) 6:00pm 6:00am (12-hour shifts) Future shift pattern may move to 4 on / 4 off About the Role We are currently recruiting 4 Night Shift Punch Press Setter Operators to join a busy, modern manufacturing environment operating 24/7. Following a recent £2 million investment in brand-new machinery , this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-thinking production team. This is a hands-on role where youll primarily set and operate punch press machinery , ensuring efficient production, quality output, and machine optimisation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Setting and operatingpunch press machines Carrying out tooling changes and machine adjustments Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately Working with metal components to precise specifications Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards Maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency Supporting a flexible, multi-skilled production environment Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times What Were Looking For Were keen to hear from candidates who have: Previous experience as a Punch Press Setter Operator Experience setting and operating punch press machinery Ability toread and understand technical drawings Knowledge of tooling setup, machine adjustments, and quality inspection A strongwork ethic and reliable attitude Experience within a sheet metal or manufacturing environment Willingness to learn and develop new skills Whats in It for You?
